Incredible place! Staff are professional, polite, casual and friendly. Carlos our waiter was great. All of the food is really special. We had tuna tartar to start which was exceptional, and fish of the day for mains. It’s so easy for fish to be ordinary, but this fish had obviously just been caught hours before and was cooked to perfection. So tasty, juicy and well balanced flavour wise. Simple, but perfect. All the cavas and wines were perfectly chosen. To speak of detail Carlos changed our olive oil halfway through the meal to better go with our current course aNd bread, and the oils were amazing. All extras such as Bread, atmosphere, temperature and music choice were perfect etc. And the banana desert was exactly what a desert should be. Light, rich and a lovely way to close the meal. We also tried their desert wines which is highly recommended, they have a great selection and Carlos gave us lots information on all of them to help pick. I’ve seen reviews say it’s expensive. They are people who perhaps don’t know that quality costs, and this is quality in every respect. Highly recommended

Be aware. Smoking allowed in small outdoor seating area. Appetizers were oversized and overprized. Tuna on tomato salad was dry and the red Mullet was heavily battered. Main dish was white fish that had been highly advertised by the owner it was good but overprized ($100 for 2 people) Overall pretty disappointing. It is unclear to me how the Michelin star got on their door.

The food was ok (although a bit overpriced for what it is - we paid over 40€ for a tiny piece of fish soaked in oil) but our meal was ruined by a very rude and unprofessional young waiter. Suck a shame cause all the other waiters looked nice. You can’t charge this kind of money and have this kind of service 👎🏻 Not Going Back

Sa jambina was the last restaurant we visited on our trip in Calella. The menu and the suggestions looked great. We took som e of the suggestions: wild mussels (really wild, nor cleaned and pure flavour, which was fine and had its charm, but 19 euros for this dish to share is not worth it); squid croquettes which were excellent and nicely presented; baby squid which had a full and mediterranean flavour but was ridicullessly overpriced (26 euros for 1 plate!). As a main dish we also took a suggestion: the wild sea breem, a local fish. Really tastefull but again, expensive (76 euros for 2pers.). We often go to dinner and like to choose the better restaurant, and we don't mind spending a lot money on good food but this restaurant needs to set the prices straight or upscale the dishes. Or maybe display the suggestions with the estimated price, so people are informed. The meals also came too fast. All these plates came within 1 hour. Our wine bottle was still half full when we finished the main dish. The waiter and staff were really friendly and helpfull. Overall, tasty seafood in a nice atmosphere but the check was a cold shower, price/quality wise.
