I had a great dinner here recently. The place is small and opening hours are restricted so it's best to reserve ahead of time. I had vegetable soup, entrecot and puff-pastry for dessert. All were delicious and wonderfully presented. One can tell there is a great deal of attention given to the offering of dishes and the selection of ingredients, all chosen to represent a large variety of regions in Spain.

They try to cover up bad food with presentation and won't realize or accept that fact when called out. We've been there on dec 22rd 2022, 4 people. On arrival we were met by a very active welcoming waitress. We was sitting us, presenting the menu, helping with wine selection, as well as serving tables and taking checks. He was the only waitress of the place and had to run like crazy to keep up w the demand. Yes, only one person for all 10 tables. Impossible. Service of course suffered even though he was heroically fighting. The food was sub-par for the price. For starters, we had salad, Morcillia revuelta and a Foie Gras toast. All of them had problems. Salad w stinging sauce, left mouth and lips red. Foie Gras was melting and had a bad taste. Morcilla was a mess. Then for mains we had Duck Magret and Carrilleras de vaca. Duck was acceptable but the plate was a mess, lots of small fruits tossed randomly stick to the plate by a fruit puree that tasted like baby fruit puree. Now, the carrilheras were uneatable. Tasted literally like burnt ground and the smashed potatoes tasted like cinnamon. It was so bad we did not eat and returned 2 dishes. I'm mean it was not one person's taste it was two people telling that it was bad. And the final stamp of a bad restaurant came when they refused to take off the returned dishes from the bill. Yes, we had to pay for the food we did not eat. So, if you value your money and your appetite, don't visit this restaurant, there are better options at Baguerge.

The food was very tasty, the staff incredibly friendly and kind, and the location simply wonderful. I recommend the restaurant with all my heart.

We’ve hiked from refugio honeria and were looking for a restaurant. By chance we came across this restaurant and had a blast. The 2 owners are super friendly. We started with local beers from the town (very good and we are from Belgium, so we know). Afterwards we ordered the deer stew with chocolate (a lot of chocolate, but it matched very well. I would recommend it for sure) and the iberico ham with a mustard sauce very nice as well). To top everything off we ended with the creme catalana. I think the french can learn a thing or 2. I love crème brûlée and I order it as almost every time I’m on a restaurant. This one is in my top three! Thank you for this great night!
