We were having dinner on Tuesday, since we were passing through to Madrid. Good atmosphere. They treated us very well, and the food was very tasty and on point. The veal framework, very good, and the tomato of the salad, superior. If we go through there, we will repeat.

Don’t go to L’escala . Go to this place for dinner. What a great meal for the entire family of nine. Everyone found something there liked. The ravioli, the burrata, the pork were just very very good. Punch above their league applies in this case Thanks for great service and good atmosphere

For this rather remote town with stunning views of the Emporda landscape and magestic Pyrenees behind, this civic-hall turned restaurant with kid friendly outdoor space and playground offers a fantastically diverse and interesting menu. Chef's repertoir (unusually for this part of Catalonia) is enriched with his travel to all parts of the world. The aromas, flavours and ingredient pairing make La U one of the best restaurants in the whole region for an affordable lunch or weekend brunch. From the moment you enter their premises, they take great care and attention to details. Correct temperature on the sumptuous local olives, a superior choice of wines, and a skilled use of seasonal ingredients from Mar and Monte (Sea and Mountain). As mentioned above its up to you to go the fusion route or the local route on the menu, as both will be prepared to a very good level.

Really good place to experience country side foods, especially calcots
