La Banyeta is a friendly restaurant located in Palol de Revardit and run by two brothers, Jaume and Ferran, who are the chef and the sommelier. This tandem, whose main purpose is to make clients feel at ease and have a nice time while tasting their creations and wine, describe their working philosophy as “tenderness and daily work”, and they’re not kidding. Jaume is always focused on the market and pays attention to the season when cooking, so he can use exclusively fresh quality products. Ferran does an excellent job by giving advice to the clients and configuring the wine list, which includes every single national reference for denomination of origin, and different vintages of the same wines.
Besides its restaurant service, La Banyeta can also cater organised events everywhere in Girona’s region, and even take charge of the assembly and dismantling of the event, as well as the service. Just provide information on the location and the client’s wishes for the event, and La Banyeta will take care of the rest.
You can’t talk about La Banyeta without talking about Palol de Revardit, because if you finally go there, you’ll have the chance to visit the Roman church of Sant Miquel, see portions of the old rampart, or even take a look at the ice well, built between the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries.
