La Ruta del Ferro Restaurant is located in the greenway of the Ruta del Ferro (a natural area) in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Girona. This lovely mountain restaurant has a new management since October 2017 and it offers a Mediterranean and market cuisine.
They have a great variety of home-made dishes and they serve the traditional Catalan’s farmer breakfast. It has a menu of the day, a children’s menu, a coal fisher menu, a weekend menu and group menus. They also have dishes for gluten-intolerant people.
The restaurant counts with a delivery service and a take-away service. They have a terrace for having a meal enjoying the fresh air and they have a children’s area and a baby’s changer area. They also have private room for celebrations and events.
It opens from Monday to Friday from 08:15 to 18:00, except for Fridays that it opens until 23:00. On Saturdays it opens from 08:00 to 23:00 and on Sundays it opens from 08:00 to 18:00. Previous reservations are available.
