The Can Jepet restaurant is located in Setcases, in Girona. This building has been run by Joan Vila and his wife, Maria Badosa, the second generation of tenants and sellers of the building Can Janet, and it is located next to the Vallter ski resorts.
More than 50 years ago, Isidre Vila and his wife, la Ventureta, had a little supply shop in the building of Can Janet and over the years, thanks to the road to the town that was built, there were more travellers asking for food and accommodation. This is how Can Janet became a mountain hostel.
Nowadays, the Can Jepet restaurant is in the hands of the third generation that puts all the effort and dedication to preserve the family principles: the love for the cuisine and for things well done. This way, they are characterised by a mountain and traditional cuisine elaborated with local and seasonal products.
In its menu there can be seen different dishes, among which there are some highlighted ones like the meat of the valley, the hunt food, the mushrooms or the spring vegetables. Moreover, they have a wine list, a menu of the day, a group menu, a children’s menu, a weekend menu and a tasting menu.
The establishment counts with a bar area and private rooms for celebrations and events. They also have a catering service and a take-away service.
In addition, it is the best restaurant with a product from Ripollès 2021.
It opens every day, except on Tuesdays that it is closed, from 08:00 to 20:30. It opens on August.
